Four timestamps on the page are essential to the validation, and they need to be in chronological order for your trip to validate. These must be in order, one being the earliest and four being the latest. Each time must be different, and they must be at least one minute apart.
To easily compare timestamps and ensure they’re filled in correctly, click on Reports – Trip Summary. You can view all the timestamps on the same page. Here’s an example:
Please note: Date/time of the creation of the trip is when the user starts filling in the form. This is computer-generated and cannot be altered by the user.
- Date/time of the start of the Trip – When you leave the wharf
- Start Date/time of the Fishing Effort – When you haul your first pot
- End date/time of the Fishing Effort – When you haul your last pot
- Date time of the start of Landing – When you return to the wharf
