Winter 2025 In-Person ELOG Training Sessions

Vericatch ELOG Training Sessions PEI

This year, the DFO requires electronic logbooks (ELOGs) for most Canadian Crab and Lobster fisheries.

Lobster and Crab ELOGS are now mandatory in most of Canada. This year, many harvesters will be using electronic logbooks for the first time. To make that transition easier for them, we’ll be on the road throughout PEI, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, Quebec, and New Brunswick, hosting In-Person ELOG Training Sessions to help new users get set up and started with ELOGS. If you’re interested in joining one of our training sessions, please visit our Events page and RSVP to the session of your choice

Before we bring our training sessions to Tignish, Rustio, Charlottetown, and Souris in PEI, we’ll be at the Eastern Canadian Fisheries Expo in Yarmouth on January 17th and 18th. If you’re attending, be sure to drop by booth #328 to learn more about ELOGS, find out more about our in-person training sessions, and enter to win a great door prize!

RSVPing also allows us to update you in case of any event changes due to weather or other factors.

Our Events page is constantly being updated so check back often to see if we’ll be hosting an event near you or let us know if you’ve got a group of people interested in us hosting a training session for them.
